Portrait of the sign

Dear Aquarius friends, the ancient poet sees you as the youth tipping the urn: you can spot the waters under the ground and bring them to the surface, and from you springs a mild, sweet race with a clean heart, easily out of pocket, with means that neither lack nor overflow, running like the urn. It is a portrait about generosity and ideas. You see what is not there yet: a new way of doing things, a solution nobody had thought of, an injustice others accept. You are a friend to everyone and intimate with few, you need freedom like air and you hate being told how to live. In love you look first of all for a deep friendship, and jealousy frightens you; at work you shine where you can invent, bring people together, change the rules, less where you must obey a dull hierarchy. The risk is being a little elsewhere, head in the future and heart at a distance. The poet lists your water trades with relish: fountains spraying up to the stars, new beaches wrested from the sea for luxury, artificial lakes and rivers, streams suspended over houses, that is, aqueducts: a thousand arts governed by the wave. And then the grandest line: you will move the face of the world and the seats of the stars, and set a new heaven turning in its orbit, an ancient way of saying that you are an engineer and an astronomer, someone who rebuilds the sky in order to understand it. The children of Aquarius, he says, never tire of the works that come from water and follow the springs: for you a project is a way of loving. The advice: now and then land, and tell someone, in person, that you care about them.

The Moon in Aquarius

The Moon is passing through Aquarius: people seek friends, groups, unusual ideas. The mood is sociable and independent at once, a little unpredictable, sensitive in the nerves. A good day for meetings, collective projects, novelty; less good for habits and certainties.
