Queen of Pentacles
Minor Arcana · Pentacles · number 13 · Regina di Denari
Upright
The Queen of Pentacles sits in a garden of roses with the coin in her lap: opulence, generosity, magnificence, security, liberty. She is the woman who has and who gives, who makes the home a warm place and money a tool. If these days you feel generous, able to host, to help, to enjoy what you have, it is no accident: you are in a phase of abundance. She may indicate a maternal figure or a companion giving you solid ground. The practical advice: use your security to widen the table, an invitation, a useful gift, but do not let others mistake it for a cash machine.

Reversed
Reversed, the Queen of Pentacles loses her serenity: evil, suspicion, suspense, fear, mistrust. Material security is no longer enough to make her feel protected, and every noise in the house becomes a threat. If these days you trust hardly anyone, your partner, your colleagues, even relatives, and check the accounts three times a day, it is no accident: something has cracked your confidence. Be careful not to turn prudence into fear, nor to leave decisions hanging while they rot. It is not a sentence. The practical advice: check once, thoroughly, whatever worries you, and then decide whether the suspicion has grounds or you can let it go.
