Upright

The Lovers are attraction, love, beauty, and the feeling of having come through a trial together. If you are living a feeling, this card proves it right; if you are alone, it tells you something beautiful is approaching, often from where you were not looking. But the card also speaks of a choice: two roads, and the need to pick one with your heart and your eyes open. The practical advice: do not let chance decide for you. Tell that person what you feel, or choose between the two job offers, but let the choice be yours.

Reversed

Reversed, the Lovers warn of a possible failure and of ill-conceived plans. Perhaps you have built a castle on a person who never said yes, or on a deal that looks perfect on paper but has a hole you pretend not to see. If these days everything seems to go wrong in love, with contrarieties of every kind, it is no accident: something was decided in haste. It is not a sentence. The practical advice: postpone the commitment, the move-in or the signature, and go over the plan with someone who has nothing to gain from it.
